At Handy Beach Goods, we design our products to deliver years of reliable beach use. We stand behind the quality of our Umbrella & Anchor System with this Limited Warranty for the original purchaser.

This Limited Warranty applies to the Handy Beach Umbrella & Anchor System and to the Handy Beach Goods anchor when sold separately. It does not apply to other Handy Beach Goods products unless expressly covered by a separate written warranty.

Warranty Coverage

Anchor System — 5-Year Limited Warranty

The anchor and structural components of the Umbrella & Anchor System are warranted to the original purchaser for five (5) years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use and proper setup.

Covered defects may include:

Structural failure of anchor components
Material defects
Manufacturing defects in hardware or structural parts

Anchor-specific exclusions:

Damage resulting from improper installation, improper use, or failure to follow product instructions
Damage resulting from extreme weather conditions or use outside intended conditions
Natural wear and tear, including oxidation or surface changes to the tip of the anchor stake that do not impact performance

Anchor Sold Separately

When the anchor is sold as a standalone product, this Limited Warranty applies only when the anchor is used as intended with a compatible beach umbrella.

For standalone use, intended use means use with an umbrella having a canopy not exceeding 38 square feet as measured in plane (i.e., the projected top-down area of the open canopy), properly installed in suitable sand conditions and used in accordance with product instructions.

Use of the anchor with larger canopies, incompatible products, or outside intended conditions is not covered under this warranty.

Canopy — 2-Year Limited Warranty

The umbrella canopy is warranted to the original purchaser for two (2) years from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.

Covered defects may include:

Defective stitching or seams
Manufacturing defects in canopy materials
Defects affecting intended function

Canopy-specific exclusions:

Fading, discoloration, or cosmetic wear from sun exposure and normal outdoor use
Damage resulting from extreme weather conditions or use outside intended conditions
Damage caused by improper storage, including storing while wet or placing weight or heavy objects on the canopy when folded or stored
Mold, mildew, or deterioration resulting from moisture retention or improper care

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser, is non-transferable, and proof of purchase may be required.

General Exclusions

Normal wear and tear
Cosmetic damage that does not impair structural integrity or intended function
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper setup, improper storage, accidents, modifications, or unauthorized repairs
Failure to properly monitor or adjust the product in changing environmental conditions
Commercial, rental, or institutional use
Loss or theft

Accessories Excluded

Accessories are excluded from warranty coverage, including the carry/storage bag, except for damage or defects present upon delivery and reported within thirty (30) days of receipt.

Shipping and Packaging Note

Our products are designed to be durable, and damage to the outer shipping carton does not necessarily indicate damage to the product itself. Please inspect the product itself upon arrival rather than the packaging alone.

If your product arrives damaged, you are covered under our 30-day return policy. After that period, eligible defects may be addressed under this warranty.

Warranty Remedies

If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, Handy Beach Goods may, at its sole discretion:

Repair the product
Provide replacement parts
Replace the product with a new or certified refurbished product
Provide the same model, or a comparable or updated model

Replacement products may be new or refurbished and may not be identical in color or design.

Any repaired or replaced product remains covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period and does not begin a new warranty term.

Repair or replacement as provided under this warranty is the sole and exclusive remedy available under this warranty.

Care Requirements

Follow setup instructions carefully
Do not submerge the product in water. If the anchor is exposed to water (especially salt water), dry it immediately and thoroughly on the outside and internally to the extent possible. Failure to do so may allow water to enter the internal hammering mechanism, which can damage the coating and cause corrosion that may impair normal operation.
Dry before storage
Ensure the canopy shaft is inserted at least 6 inches into the anchor during use to avoid stress damage to the top collar of the anchor

How to Make a Warranty Claim

To make a claim, contact contact@handybeachgoods.com and provide proof of purchase, description of issue, and photos or video showing the claimed defect.

Warranty claims should be submitted promptly after discovery of an alleged defect. Delay in reporting a claimed defect may affect warranty eligibility where permitted by law.

Handy Beach Goods may request return of a product or component for inspection and will provide instructions if return is required.

Limitations of Liability

The user assumes responsibility for proper installation, use, supervision, and operation of the product.

Because outdoor and weather conditions are variable and beyond our control, Handy Beach Goods does not warrant or guarantee product performance under all conditions.

Intended use includes, where the anchor is sold separately, use only with compatible umbrella systems and canopy sizes within specified limits.

Handy Beach Goods shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation property damage, personal injury, or other losses arising from use or misuse of the product.

Warranty Revisions

Handy Beach Goods reserves the right to update or modify this Limited Warranty from time to time; however, any such changes will not reduce warranty coverage applicable to products purchased prior to the effective date of a revised warranty.
